How to Order
We are NOT a web site utilizing a shopping cart automated check-out process. We prefer to do business on the internet the same way we do it with our local customers--by personal contact. If you have questions concerning any aspect of your order we're here to answer them and to provide you with the personal service that you deserve!
To order using Visa, MasterCard or Discover we need your e-mail address, the name and address to which you want the instrument shipped, credit card numbers, and expiration date. Michigan residents add 6% sales tax to purchase price. PayPal payments may be processed in the usual manner.
Orders may be placed by phone at (248) 634-2123; or, if you prefer, by fax using our secure fax line at (248) 634-7889; or by sending us an e-mail (windshoppe@comcast.net) indicating the instrument in which you are interested and your phone number. We will phone you with complete information and, if you wish, process your order at that time.
All instruments are shipped via UPS ground or USPS unless other arrangements have been made. Orders may be pre-paid by personal check or chahiers check (allow 10 business days for clearance), money order, VISA, MasterCard, or Discover, or sent COD. Shipping charges (including packaging and insurance) within the continental United States are as follows:
Flutes, piccolos, oboes, clarinets - $25.00
Soprano and alto saxophones, cornets, trumpets - $35.00
Tenor saxophones, trombones, bass clarinets - $45.00
All other instruments - Call for quote
COD - add $17.00 to normal shipping charge.
Payment for orders from outside of the USA or Canada must be made by one of the following methods: Electronic bank transfer of funds, Western Union, PayPal (approved countries), or international money order (must clear before shipment). We do not accept credit card payments from outside of the USA.
Charges for shipments to countries outside of the USA to be determined based on arrangements made when order is placed.
Purchasers of used instruments should retain the original carton and packing materials during the 5-day trial period for re-use should they opt to return the instrument. NO "repairs" of any kind may be made during the trial period. Instrument must be returned in its original condition. Please note that the 5-day trial period and return privilege does NOT apply to NEW instruments. New instruments are, of course, covered by the normal factory warrantee. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the purchaser.
The Windshoppe will notify the purchaser via e-mail when the instrument is shipped and provide the UPS tracking number as well as the expected date of delivery. Normal delivery time is between 1 and 5 business days depending on distance.
